Course Objectives

A Theme-Based Course

The chemistry content of the course will be organized around three themes.  They are: 1) What Should We Do About Global Warming?; 2)  How Do Airbags Function? and 3) Vitamin C: How Much Should I Take? Essentially one week of the course will be devoted to each theme.  In these three contexts you will learn those chemical concepts and skills that you will need to go on in courses which have this course as a prerequisite.
