OTTAWA

Our final stop on our trek through Quebec will be just over the border into Ontario, the Canadian capital city of Ottawa. Perhaps the only really bilingual city in "English" Canada, Ottawa is home of the federal government of Canada, where the slight distance from Quebec may give us an opportunity to reflect on the place of the province in Canada, and of Canada in the life of the province of Quebec.
